We regret to announce the passing of TreyVon Tyre DeAnthony Chisolm, 24, of N. Charleston, SC who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 3, 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be receiving any guests.  

Life Reflections of TreyVon Tyre DeAnthony Chisolm

TreyVon Tyre DeAnthony Chisolm was born on August 5, 1996 to Gloria Chisolm and Ricardo Jakes. At the tender age of 24 he was shockingly and unexpectedly snatched away from us on September 3, 2020. He had an energy that with even just one encounter with him, you would remember him for a lifetime. Trust me “Those who knew TreyVon, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.” TreyVon pulled no punches “What you saw was what you got with him, and what you saw - if you were lucky to be his friend then you would know that he was truly a delightful, generous, easy-going, fun-loving human being.”

He was the life of the party and loved to dance and have a good time. TreyVon had so much goodness, so much capacity to bring happiness to others and such a bright future. The world is a lesser place without him. Most importantly, TreyVon had a deep committed love for his family, and cherished the time we would spend together, telling/playing practical jokes on each other, and enjoying family dinners together. If you knew him you knew without a shadow of a doubt loyal friendships meant the world to him. We will lovingly and forever remember TreyVon through memories, and lots of laughs he forced us all to endure whether we were in the mood or not. TreyVon will be most remembered for his ever-present smile and the warmth, depth and intelligence behind it.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ricardo Jakes; grandmother, Marie Etta Jakes and uncle, Norman Jakes.

TreyVon memories will be remembered and cherished by his mother, Gloria Chisolm; siblings: Adrian Torain Chisolm and Kiara Simone Chisolm; grandmother/nana, Louise Chisolm; uncles: Curtis Chisolm and Paul Chisolm; aunts: Catrice (Kenneth) Hubbard, Katina Chisolm and Jessica Chisolm; special cousin, Samaria Janae Chisolm; his extended family, sister, Rickia Rivers; uncles: Gary (Donna) Jakes and Clifford Jakes; aunts: Connie Jakes and Sarah (Antonio) Ladson; special cousin, Shaquetta (Tyrone) Ware, and an overwhelming amount of other family member and freinds.

The family would like to say “THANK YOU” to the very special lady in TreyVon’s life Ms. Ronneisha Wright.

Viewing will be Thursday, August 10, 2020 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Alfred Williams Community Center 4441 Durant Ave. North Charleston, SC 29405

Celebration of Life Service will also be held on Thursday August 10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Alfred Williams Community Center 441 Durant Ave. North Charleston, SC 29405
