It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Jerald Broughton, aka “JJ”, 43, of Moncks Corner, SC who entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
““JJ” leaves to cherish his loving memories, the apple of his eyes and high school sweetheart, his wife, Shameka Broughton; loving children, Jayden, Journee, Jenesis Broughton; loving father, James Broughton; loving siblings, Shania (Benjamin) Smalls Sharonda (Jammal) Carmichael, Tyrone (Amber) Broughton, honorary brother, David Alston; father-in-law Daniel (Darlene) Robinson, Mother-in-law Janice Jenkins Robinson and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
“JJ” was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Ann Liner-Broughton.
The family will receive guests at “JJ’s” residence and his father’s residence.
“JJ” was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team, therefore the family ask that everyone please wear your Dallas Cowboys gear or navy blue and silver on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 1:00pm at the New Hope Life Center, 152 Heyward Ridgelane, Huger, SC 29450.
