It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert L. Bailey, Jr. (affectionally called “Moochie”) of St. Stephen, SC who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Moochie leaves to cherish his memories his loving children, Albert Harris aka “Smootch”, Shalanda Wells; step-father Harris McDaniel; loving siblings, Sherrie (Johnnie) Thomas, Salisa McKelvey, Doug (Courtney) Bailey, Issac (Tracy) Bailey, Will (Ida) Bailey, Joshua (Carlene) Bailey, Sr., Joseph Bailey, Melody (George) Williams, Zadoc (Martese) Bailey, James McDaniel, Jordan McDaniel, Larry McKelvey, Edward (Vicki) Medley, Abraham Medley, Norris (Belinda) McDaniel, Keith McDaniel; loving aunt and uncle, Doretha (Harvey) Reid; special friend, Deloris (Jean) Brooks and a host of many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Moochie was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Lee Bailey, Sr., and Elizabeth McKelvey-Bailey-McDaniel.
