SILAS HAMILTON JR.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Silas Hamilton Jr., 83, of Alvin, SC who entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Silas leaves to cherish his memories his loving children, Gregory (Kim) Hamilton, Adrian (Monica) Hamilton, Coretta (Alan) Russell; loving siblings, Bobbie Jean Davis, Gertude Padgett, Rozetta Prioleau, Truman (Jean) Hamilton, St. Joseph (Ginger R.) Hamilton, Mark (Janice) Hamilton; loving grandchildren, Alan Russell Jr., Marcus (Anita) Russell, Antonio (Kimberlee) Russell, Tayshell (Anthony) Sweatman, Kajuan Williams, Damiean (Jamie) Williams, Michael (Sade) Wilson, Dakayla Gibbs, Ashleigh Hamilton, Daquawn S. Johnson; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Silas was preceded in death by his wife, Doris G. Hamilton, his father, Silas Hamilton Sr. and his mother, Rosa Bell Kinlaw - Hamilton. 

The family of the Late Silas Hamilton Jr., will be receiving visitors at 211 Dad Lane, Alvin, SC, 29479 between the hours of 4pm - 8pm starting today October 20, 2026.
