We regret to announce the passing of Fred Brown Jr., 19, of North Charleston, SC. who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 11, 2020. The son of Ms. Olivia Simmons (Daminon Gibson) & Fred Brown III (Camae)

 

Life Reflection of Fred Brown "Buddy" Jr.

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

A TIME TO PLANT....  Fred Brown Jr., affectionately known as “Buddy” was born May 13, 2001 in Charleston, SC to Fred Brown III (Camae) and Olivia Simmons (Daminon Gibson). Buddy was educated in Charleston County Public School. He grew up in Downtown Charleston.

A TIME TO GROW.… Buddy graduated from Fort Dorchester High School on June 9, 2020. Buddy participated in several different extracurricular activities during his years of school. Buddy participated in the AAU Basketball, Football, Recreation Basketball, and Baseball. Buddy was a member of the Men of Action Tuskegee Airman Junior sponsored by Boeing SC. Buddy was an entrepreneur selling palmetto roses at an early age on the Charleston City Market. Buddy was one of the first group to receive his permit for selling palmetto roses on the market and outlying areas. After Buddy was old enough work in the workforce. Buddy worked different jobs. He was a team lead chef at Mod Pizza, and worked at Westvaco Plant. He loved being his own boss, so he decided to work with his father at Brown ’s Painting to learn the trade. Buddy ’s favorite foods were bake macaroni and cheese and chicken alfredo. Buddy was considered to be a gentle giant. He was always manner able and respectable wherever he would go. After making a statement he would always say “FACTS”, that means the end. Buddy life goal was to become a fireman and merchant seaman.

A TIME TO WORSHIP …. Buddy often attended church with his father at Royal Missionary Baptist Church. Buddy knew who God was. He was excited to attend church. He took Christ with him and was not ashamed to let his friends know that he knew, who God was.

A TIME TO MOURN …. Buddy departed this Earth on Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Atlanta, GA. Buddy leaves to cherish her memories his loving parents, Fred Brown III (Camae) and Olivia Simmons (Daminon Gibson), brothers, Tyquez Simmons; Mickeil Murray; Sisters: Alicia Brown, Tia Dowling, Skylan Murray, Samiyra Bennett, Kayla Brown, Jadlyn Lincoln; Step brother Tavin Dowling; Step sister, TaNarria Dowling; Grandmother, Letha Mae Brown (Tyrone Green and Vera Mae Simmons, who preceded him death; Great Grandmother, Mildred Ferrara; Grandfather, Fred Brown Jr.; Leonard Simmons; Aunts: Tameisha Simmons and EdTrina Simmons (Louis); Uncles, Travis Simmons (Tamekia), Dameion Simmons, Terrell Richardson and Jarrod Brown (Crystal); Nephews: Tyqez Simmons Jr. and Taylor Simmons.; Nieces, NiTya Royal Simmons, Kalauni Simmons, Dereon Mcfadden and Justice Devereaux; Special friends, Laela Sloan and Corey Patterson, and a host of relatives and friends. 

 

Ms. Olivia & Mr. Fred  is asking as they grieve the loss of Fred Jr., and yet celebrate his life with family and friends to PLEASE observe social distancing and wear your masks.
