Divinity Mortuary, with hearts joined alongside the McCutcheon family announces with deep sorrow and loving reverence the transition of Minister Donald "Duggie" Bernard McCutcheon, 67, of Columbia, SC (formerly of Moncks Corner, SC) who exchanged time for eternity on Monday, February 2, 2026, at his residence in Columbia, SC.
Minister McCutcheon lived a life anchored in faith and poured out in service. He loved the Lord with his whole heart, mind, body and soul and counted it his highest honor to glorify his Heavenly father. His walk with God was not casual, it was committed. With a giant spirit, steady conviction, and a generous heart, he faithfully stewarded every gift entrusted to him, using his life to lift others, strengthen the Body of Christ and reflect the goodness of God. His life preached as powerfully as his word.
Minister McCutcheon will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by his two sons, Bryan D. McCutcheon (Tanasiha) and Terrell B. McCutcheon (Synethia): his devoted mother, Elaine Pou; loving siblings, Carolyn McCutcheon, Doris Smith, Kimberly Taylor and Vanessa Taylor and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews a devoted circle of extended family, ministry partners, and dear friends who were strengthened, encouraged and blessed by his presence.
Minister McCutcheon was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Margaret Read and his brother Derrick Terry McCutcheon.
The family of Minister McCutcheon will be receiving guests at their residence from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Please adhere to the hours given by the family and keep the McCutcheon family, The Mitten Lane Holiness Church Family and Community in your prayers during this difficult time.
Divinity Mortuary stands with the McCutcheon family in honoring a life well lived, a faith well kept, and a servant who has now received his eternal reward.
