It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William Vance, 70, of St. Stephen, SC who entered into eternal rest early Monday morning, February 20, 2023 at Pruitt Health in Moncks Corner, SC.  William was the loving and devoted husband of 47 years to Clara Vance; forever loving father of Earl Vance, William Vance, Jr. (Stephanie), Kenya Vance & Belon Vance; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; loving brother of Gregory Vance, Mitchell Gaillard, Tawna Pinckney (Alonzo), Clarence Gaillard Jr., (Paulette), Carla Gaillard, Marcia Gaillard, Lawrence Gaillard & Kevin Gaillard (Nikki).

Mr. William Vance was a retired Janitorial Custodian of J.K. Gourdin Elementary School in Pineville, SC. He will always be remembered as a great mentor to the students. Continue to keep Mr. Vance loving wife, children, family & the Community of Pineville, Russellville & St. Stephen in your prayers.

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence. A face mask is required to be worn while at the residence. You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Divinity Mortuary from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

Life Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Philip Baptist Church, 1898 N. State Hwy. 35 St. Stephen, SC 29479.  Pastor Curtis Dingle - Pastor
