It is with the heaviest of hearts and deepest regret that we announce, Peter Joseph Gonzalez, 50, of Toms River, NJ who passed away on April 22, 2021 in Summerville, SC.

Peter was born in Weehawkin, NJ, On August 14, 1970 alongside his twin brother. Peter was a lifelong resident of Toms River, NJ. He attended and graduated from Toms River High School North in 1988, thereafter, becoming a plumber by trade. 

To know Peter, was to love him. Despite his struggles, he always kept a golden heart and the purest of intentions. 

Peter is predeceased by both of his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his 3 sons; Peter, Matthew, and Daniel and his two grandchildren; John, and Roman, all of Moncks Corner, SC. His parents; Wilfred Gonzalez of Toms River, NJ and his mother; Petrea Trautz of Newberry, FL. His siblings; Kenneth (Elizabeth) Gonzalez of Deland, FL, Diana Gonzalez of Toms River, NJ, Lisa (Frank) Machiaverna of Newberry, FL and his twin brother, Richard (Nicole) Gonzalez of Toms River, NJ.  His 12 nieces and nephews, and 3 great nieces and nephew, his fiancé, Jessica Young and her daughter Gianna, both of Waretown, NJ, countless friends and extended family. 

We will love him always and miss him just the same. His light will shine forever.
