Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lavenia Gibbs Simmons, 92, of Moncks corner, SC who entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, SC. Lavenia was the loving mother of Harold L. Simmons, Jr., (Wilma), Gloria Simmons Pringle, Darlene Simmons Pringle (Rickie), Levi Simmons (Irene), Orrie E. Simmons Haney (Rev. Samuel,Jr.) and Archie R. Simmons (Francenia); 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mother Lavenia was preceded in death by her parents Antrum & Ellen Gibbs, husband Harold Andrew Simmons; children Barbara Ann Simmons and Lee Rodney Simmons and a grandson Marshall S. Simmons.
