Obituary
We regret to announce the passing of Jacob Lawrence Perry, 85, of Sheep Island / Summerville, SC who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Summerville Community Hospice House, Summerville, SC with his loving children and family by his bedside. Jacob was the loving husband of Percille Washington-Perry; forever loving father of Jestine Perry, Jake Perry (Anita), Augustine Polite, Josephine Frye, Thelma Buie (Percy), Carmela Page (Randall), Dean Perry (Lisa), Pamela Perry, Shoquiona Perry, Clifford Perry, (Eartha), Jacob Holmes (Elizabeth), Esau Holmes, Sharon Washington, Dexter Washington & Anthony Washington; 65 loving grands, 75 great-grands, 2 great-great grandchildren; loving siblings: Ida Walker, Florence Capers, RoseAnn Reid (Johnny) and Sally Gadson (John) and a host of many other loving family and friends.
Jacob was preceded in death by his parents David & Regina Perry; Jessie Mae Stevens-Perry (mother of his 10 children); brothers: William Perry, Henry Perry, Charles Perry, David Perry and James Perry; his sister Lisa Walker and 3 grandchildren.
The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence. A face mask is required to be worn and kept on at all times while at the residence. You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall.
