We regret to announce the passing of Henry Lee Wright, 65, of Bonneau, SC who entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Prism Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC. He was the loving husband of Mary Lee Wright, children Curtis Harris, LaTrell (Tairou) Bila and LaShaun Harris.

Henry Lee Wright, 65 years of age, enter his eternal resting place on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Prisma Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC.
Henry was born in Bonneau, SC on November 5, 1955, the son of the late Leroy “Lee” Wright and Annie Mae (Savage) Wright and graduated from Macedonia High School, the class of
1974.
At an early age Henry accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1987 at Christ Center (UPC) in Columbia, SC.
Henry joined in Holy matrimony to the beautiful Mary Lee Wright in 1987 whom he loved immensely. Their deep love and affection for each other kept them together for 34 years.
Henry was a hardworking man with a heart full of compassion and understanding. He had one of the brightest and biggest smiles that would light up the darkest room. He loved being around his family and friends. He ministered and Pastored with compassion, love and truth at Miracle Divine Healing and Deliverance. Though he was a true worshipper at heart, no matter the beat of a song, he could never catch it.
Carpentry was his passion and it showed in his work. It didn’t matter how challenging of a task he was given; he would always discover a new technique to best it. Not only was he a great worker but he was a great father and provider. He had unconditional love for all his children. Even in his sickness he made time to entertain his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He will very truly be missed.
He was predeceased in death by his mother, Annie Mae Wright; father, Leroy Wright and his son Lamont Ham.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Lee Wright; his daughter Henrietta (LaShaun) Harris of Columbia, SC; his son Curtis Harris of Columbia, SC; Latrell Henry (Bila) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his sisters: Lottie (Albert) Harris, Doris A. McHoney, Margaret Ruth Singleton, Betty (Daniel) Smalls, Rose (Steve) Davis; his brothers: Charles (Cecilia Ann) Wright and
Roscoe Wright all of Bonneau, SC; his grandchildren: Jordan Harris, Jeremiah Harris, Josiah Harris, Journei Harris, Vinay, Samory, Lamoria, Shyheem; one brother-in-law and one sister- in law both of Gadsden, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 5-7PM at Divinity Mortuary Chapel.
Graveside and Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Greater St. Mark AME Church, 918 Black Oak Rd. Bonneau, SC 29431
