GAIL ROBERSON

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gail Roberson, 53, of North Charleston, formerly of Odessa, TX who entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 6, 2023 at her residence. Gail will forever be the loving mother of Brittany Baker & Curtis Roberson, Jr.; Gail’s pride and joy her 14 grandchildren: Tanazija, Jurnee, La’Draiona, Ciara, Nature, Aubriyail, Adren Jr., Curtis III, Cortez, Adrian, Cashton, Legend, Dash and Raistlyn; loving sister of James Belcher, James Joyner, Melissa McNerney.  3 special sisters of 39 years Melissa Moses, Terra White & Cynthia Hooper. 

Gail was preceded in death by her husband the Late Curtis Roberson Sr., her children Money Joe Belcher & Curvert Roberson; her parents James & Melloleane W. Belcher.

Gail was a God fearing woman of God full of faith. She LOVED spending unlimited time with her 14 grandchildren who were her pride and joy, she loved to crochet for them. Gail was so loved and special all of her granddaughters have her name in theirs. Gail was family oriented and loved her family dearly. Gail had a BIG heart for God’s people. She was the most loving and kindest person you would ever meet and would do absolutely anything for anyone without looking for a return. Gail trusted God in everything she encountered and went through in her life knowing that somehow & someday God was going to turn things around. The testimony of Gail’s life was “If I can help someone along the way, then I know my labor will not be in vain.”

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence. A face mask is required to be worn and kept on while at the residence.  You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall. 

Continue to keep Gail’s children, grandchildren and the entire Roberson & Wilson family in your prayers.

Service Details:

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, March18, 2023 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Divinity Mortuary.

Life Celebration Service will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM at True Way Missionary Baptist Church, 1759 Royle Rd. Summerville, SC 29486.  Pastor Brian Hunt - Pastor
