We regret to announce the passing of Eugene Moultrie, 57, of Pineville, SC.

 

                                                                                   

Life Reflections of Eugene Moultrie

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.  Revelation 21:4

 

Eugene Moultrie (Uncle Preacher) son of the late Helen Moultrie and Donald Mack, step-father, Robert Jamison was born on January 11, 1964 in Charleston, SC. He transitioned peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his residence.

A week after his birth, his biological parents gave him to Thomas Frasier and Inez Ravenell Frasier and they raised him as their own son.

Eugene (Uncle Preacher) received his education in Berkeley County. He attended Cross High School, Class on 1983.

Eugene (Uncle Preacher) moved to Johnston, SC, where he met and married Viola E. Washington, to this union two children were born.

He worked for Taylor Nursery for many years.

Eugene affectionately known as Preacher, Preacher Man, Junior, Buddy or Chocolate moved backed to Pineville, SC in 2014. He was our dancing machine, the life of every party, or as he would say," I’m like a little piece of leather, I stay together.”

Eugene (Uncle Preacher) leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Viola E. Moultrie of Aiken, SC; two children, Emma (Allen) Moultrie of Pineville, SC and Calvin (Brittany) Moultrie of Aiken, SC; step-children, Johnny Jr. Washington of Aiken, SC, Leeon (Nikki) Simpkin of Beech Island, SC, Latosa and Latesa Pixley of Goldboro North Carolina, Rebecca Scott of Goldboro, NC and Christal Pixley of Goldsboro, NC; grandchildren; Emani, Amiya, Amauri, Tydarius, Callie, Khalil and Zamaya; siblings; Robert Lee Frasier, Robert (Juanita) Moultrie, Timothy (Helen) Moultrie, Earl (Marva) Moultrie, DeAnna Johnson, Angelo Mack, Earl (Cathy) Mack, Theresa Johnson and Christopher (Dorothy) Mack; grandmother, Sadie Mack of Charleston, SC; aunts; Leola Scott, Albertha Bryant, Janet McFadden and Martha Ann Mack; uncles; Samuel Moultrie, Anthony Mack, and Lamont Mack; sisters-in-law: Johnnie Mae Mealings of Aiken, SC and Elizabeth Frasier of Eutawville, SC.; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

 

Family members and friends may view Mr. Eugene Moultrie on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at Divinity Mortuary 924 S. Live Oak Dr. Moncks Corner, SC 29461

Graveside service will take place on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 12:00 Noon, Jim Eady Cemetery Cross, SC
