We regret to announce the heavenly transition of Mr. Bobby Gene Brown, 74, of Ladson, SC who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 5:00 pm at his residence surrounded by his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Deloris Brown and his children, Barbara (Deacon Jerome) Middleton, Bertha (Alex) Green & Anthony Brown (Lauren Pender)
The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence at 9919 Hwy. 78 Lot 71 Ladson, SC 29456. The family requests that a face mask must be worn while at the residence and to practice social distancing.
Life Reflections of Bobby Gene Brown

Mr. Bobby Gene Brown was born in Bowman, South Carolina on September 10, 1946. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in his home under hospice care in Ladson, South Carolina.
Bobby attended Bowman High School. At an early age he joined St. Luke United Methodist Church in Ehrhardt, South Carolina. He later moved to Summerville, South Carolina.
He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family. He was a faithful employee of Welteraw Foods for over 30 years as well as an entrepreneur.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Earthlee Wright; father, William Ghostman; brother, Junior Bookhart (Peggy) and son, Andre Arthur Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 40 years, Delores Brown; daughters: Barbara Middleton (Jerome) and Bertha Green (Alex); son, Anthony Brown; two sisters: Elizabeth Kinard and Ivory Wright; one brother, Murphy Wright; grandchildren: Tracy, Jerome, Jr. (Bridgette), Kendrick, Naomi, Christianna, Kenny, Brittany, Jada, Chyanne, Elijah, and Brandon; 13 great grandchildren; a special friend, Johnny Mae of Ravenel, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Viewing will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 3-5 pm at Divinity Mortuary, 924 S. Live Oak Dr. Moncks Corner, SC 29461
Graveside and Life Celebration will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at St. Luke U. M. Church 12514 Braxton Bridge Rd. Ehrhardt, SC 29081
