ALLEN RAVENELL

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Allen Ravenell, 66, of Cross, SC who entered into eternal rest on Thursday evening, July 13, 2023 at the Summerville Community Hospice House, Summerville, SC with his loving family by his bedside. Allen will forever be the loving father of Carolyn Hines, Lorraine Ravenell, Trevor Doctor, Step-Daughters; Shereka Ravenell, Keinesha Ravenell, Monique Smith, Tocara Smith and Tylina Watson.  Step-Sons; Jerry Smith, and Jerald Smith; 15 Grandchildren and 4 Great-grands; loving brother of Naomi Sellers, Arabella Gaddist, Deaconess Yvonne Spann, Sylvia Goodwine (Ivory), Generise Dennis, Linda R. Gavin (Jerome), Rev. Mae F. Taylor; significant other of 12 years Sarah DeClue; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Ravenell & Virginia Ravenell - Gousby; son: Allen D. Ravenell Jr; siblings: Blondell Davis and Albert Ravenell Jr.

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence. You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Popular Hill Christian Church, 1621 Popular Hill Dr. Cross, SC 29436

Celebration of Life Service of Mr. Allen Ravenell will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Popular Hill Christian Church, 1621 Popular Hill Dr. Cross, SC 29436. Rev. Devita Smith - Brown, Pastor
