We regret to announce the passing of Shaundez Lamont Desaussure, 16, of N. Charleston, SC who entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 22, 2021. Shaundez was the loving son of Alexandra R. Burden and Shelton L. Desaussure.

SHAUNDEZ LAMONT DESAUSSURE, 16 years of age, was born at St. Francis Hospital on March 3, 2005. He was the son of Shelton Lamont Desaussure and Alexandra Renee Burden. He entered his eternal resting place on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Trident Medical Center.

Shaundez attended Trident One.

At an early age, Shaundez accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Shaundez had a heart full of compassion and under- standing. He had one of the biggest and brightest smiles that would light up the darkest room. He loved being around his family and friends. He loved playing video games and cracking jokes with anyone that would listen. He had such an excitement for life and fights with Keondre (brother), Dee Dee (sister) and Rich (brother).

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and grandmother, maternal grandfather and great grandfather and Godmother, the late Zenobia Mitchell.

He is survived by his mother, Alexandra Renee Burden; father, Shelton Lamont Desaussure; brothers, Keondre Vashon Desaussure and Rich Alan Brown; sisters: Sa'Lair Desaussure, Olivia Desaussure and Devyne Snipe; maternal grandmother, Mary L. Burden; great grandmother, Lucille Denmark; aunts: Carolyn Denmark (Ricky), Rhonda Burden, Monica Yakubu (Lbriham), Ashley Owens (Kariss) and Sophia Nowell; uncles: Tyrone Burden, Jr., Elder Mario Desaussure, Antonio Burden, Bruce Desaussure and Thyrone Burden; special people in his life; Aaron and Jackie Moore, Esther Gethers, Brenda Moore, Michael Moore and Tracey Scott along with a host of granduncles, grandaunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 5-7pm at the Alfred Williams Community Center, 4441 Durant Ave. N. Charleston, SC 29405

Life Celebration Services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00am at the Alfred Williams Community Center, 4441 Durant Ave. N. Charleston, SC 29405

Interment: Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Dr. N. Charleston, SC 29405
