Mrs. Ruth P. Snider

Divinity Mortuary alongside the Snider and Portee family regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Ruth P. Snider, 70, of Charleston, SC (formerly of Huger, SC) who transitioned on Friday, July 4,2025 at MUSC Medical Center, Charleston, SC. Mother Ruth was the loving mother of Elizabeth Gathers, Susanne "Susie" Snider, Shonta Snider, Timothy Snider, (8) grands, (1) great grand, loving brother, Leroy Portee, (1) aunt, Sally Maze and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Snider and her daughter, Erica Snider.

The family will be receiving family and friends at her brother Leroy Portee residence.
