It is with great sadness that we announce the transition of Mother Ruth Pride, 96, of Moncks Corner, SC who peacefully went to sleep in the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the OakBrook Health and Rehabilitation Center, Summerville, SC. Mother Pride was one of the oldest Mother in Bethlehem RE Church, Moncks Corner, SC. Mother Ruth was a pillar in her church and one who served and worked many, many years faithfully until her health began to fail. Mother Pride will be deeply missed among her children, family, Community and Church family. Mother Pride was the loving mother of Theodore Pride, Alphonsa Pride (Bobbie) & Bobby Pride; (11) loving grandchildren, (18) great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, brother: Peter Joyner Jr., (Ruth), Sister: Elizabeth Cooper and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Mother Pride was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Pride, parents Peter Joyner, Sr. and Mozelle Joyner; (son) John Lee, (grand-daughter) Jessica Lane and (daughter- in-law) Lutha Mae Pride.

The family will be receiving family and friends at 1773 S. Live Oak Dr. Moncks Corner, SC. A face mask is required to be worn and kept on at all times while at the residence.
