We regret to announce the passing of Mother Ruth Novella Milligan-Butler, 86, of Pineville, SC who heard the master's call and answered to receive her just reward on Thursday morning, December 14, 2023 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, SC with her loving daughter and family by her side. Mother Butler was a God fearing woman of God who loved and served the Lord faithfully. Mother Butler will forever be the beautiful loving mother of Barry Butler, Charles Butler, Michelle Butler and Clifford Butler; (9) loving grandchildren, (2) she reared as her own JasMinne Butler & Keesha Butler; (7) great-grandchildren; loving siblings Rev. Benjamin (Christie) Milligan, Rev. John Milligan, Paula Jean Milligan, Barbara Milligan, Rosella Gillians and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mother Butler was preceded in death by her husband Madison Butler; siblings St. Julian Milligan, Jr., Viola Middleton and Annie Simpson.

The family will be receiving family and friends on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 4-8pm at 225 Country Creek Ln. Pineville, SC. A face mask is required to be worn and kept on at all times while at the residence.
