Reverend Mildred (Simmons) Green

It is with humble submission that we announce the peaceful transition of Reverend Mildred Simmons-Green, 79, of Moncks Corner, SC who entered into eternal rest with her loving husband Deacon Clyde V. Green, Sr., and family by her bedside on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Reverend Mildred was deeply rooted in her faith in God, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Reverend Green was the heart of her family and home, known for her vibrant and kind spirit. Her heart and home were always open to everyone. She will be deeply missed.

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence.

SERVICE DETAILS :

Wake Service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 2027 Delaware Ave., North Charleston, SC 29405.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on August 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1440 Folly Rd., Charleston, SC 29412.

Final resting Place will be on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
