Reverend Virginia B. Peace

It is w ith bowed heads and humble submission that we announce the peaceful and heavenly transition of one of God's very own Reverned Virginia B. Peace, 71, of Moncks Corner, SC who heard the Master's call and entered heavens gate joyful to receive her just reward on Thursday evening, March 14, 2024 at Trident Medical Center, N. Charleston, SC with her loving husband, children and family by her bedside.

Rev. Virginia B. Peace was the Associate Pastor at Greater St. James AME Church, Summerville, SC since the 1980's and served faithfully under many Pastors, but currently served under Reverend Archie Fair - Pastor of Greater St. James AME Church, Summerville, SC.

Rev. Peace was one of the oldest pillar in Greater St. James AME Church and a true example of Christianity.

Rev. Peace LOVED the Lord and lived the life she preached about indoors and outdoors of the church, among her family and friends and in the Community. Every opportunity she had to preach or witness to someone about the word of God, she did just that.

Reverend Peace believed in the scripture of Hebrews 12:14 "Holiness without, no man shall see the Lord" and she exemplified "true holiness" everyday of her life. Reverend Virginia B. Peace will be deeply missed.

Reverend Peace was the loving and devoted wife of 46 wonderful bless years to Bro. Henry E. Peace; forever loving children: Chiquita 'Monique' Peace-Pringle (Shavon), Crystal Peace, Henry Peace Il, Kesha Burns-Peace; Grandchildren: Ashanti Peace, Akili Pringle, Zoe Pringle; Siblings: Elder Nathaniel (Rev. Deveta) Brown, Edward Brown, Bishop Melvin Brown, Evangelist Lula Bell (Len) Richardson, Apostle AL Paul (Jhona) Brown, Rev. Joseph Brown, Nolten (Yvonne) Peace, Robert (Sharon) Peace, Tincielle (Bernard) Motte, Arzwell (Willette) Peace, Lillian Brown and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends

Reverend Virginia Peace was preceded in death by her parents: James C. & Daisy Bell Brown, Sisters: Cynthia Brown, Jean Brown, & Pamela Brown.

The family will not receive family and friends at their residence. Please honor and respect Bro. Henry and the children wishes at this time . Your prayers are solicited for Bro. Henry Peace, their children, grands and the entire Peace, Pringle and Brown family.

SERVICE DETAILS OF REVEREND VIRGINIA B. PEACE ARE AS FOLLOWED :

Public Viewing will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Divinity Mortuary from 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Reverned Peace will lie in state at the church from 9:30AM until the hour of service on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING AT THE END OF SERVICE .

Celebration of Life of Reverend Virginia B. Peace will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Greater St. James AME Church.  Rev. Archie Fair - Pastor

Interment Following the Service: Wilson Cemetery, Moncks Corner, SC
