Divinity Mortuary, with hearts joined alongside the Gibbs family regret to announce the passing of Perneal Gibbs, 84, of Macon, GA (formerly of Moncks Corner, SC) who entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 13, 2026.

LIFE REFLECTIONS OF MR. PERNEAL GIBBS

Perneal Gibbs was born in Moncks Corner, South Carolina on May 5, 1941 to the late Rosa Lee Smith Gibbs and David Gibbs.

Perneal was preceded in death by his stepmother, Gladys Gibbs, and his brothers, Earl Gibbs, Clarence Gibbs, Gilbert Gibbs, and Harry Lee Gibbs.

Perneal leaves a legacy of: two brothers, Holbert Lee (Willie Mae) Gibbs of Summerville, SC, and Lloyd Gibbs of Fort Valley, GA; two sisters, Janie (Fremon) Knolton of Fort Valley, GA, and Dorothy (John) Haynes of Summerville, SC; one sister-in-law, Johnnie Mae Gibbs of Albany, Georgia; three sons, Neal (Kim) Gibbs of Houston, TX, Paul (Roslyn) Gibbs of Tennessee, and Rodney Robinson of Laurel Maryland; six grandchildren, Javane, Jabari, Max, Adora, D’von, and Imani; three great-grandchildren, Jamar, Jace, and Cairo and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives friends.
