Patricia Ann Gibbs-Alston

Divinity Mortuary formally announces the passing of Patricia Ann Gibbs-Alston, aka “Poochie”, 65, of Moncks Corner, SC who transitioned on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at The Pruitt Health Nursing Home, Moncks Corner, SC.

“Poochie” was a very kind hearted, lovable person. To know her was to simply love her. “Poochie” love putting her hands to work especially in cooking. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memories her children, Anthony Dayton and Lawrence Alston; (2) grands: Kiara Dayton and Xaviar Alston; siblings: Magaline (A’mos) Emerson, Wilhelmenia Gilliam, Priscilla Alston and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Ernestine Gibbs-Alston.
