It is with humble submission and bowed heads we announce the heavenly transition of Mother Susan M. Snyder, 106, of McClellanville, SC who harkened unto the master's call to receive her just reward on Monday, February 6, 2023 in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Down through the years, the Lord has truly been good to Mother Susan affectionally known as "Aunt Sue"  Mother Susan loved the Lord, she loved to sing the songs of Zion no matter where she was and she served faithfully in her church for many, many, many years. "Aunt Sue" was the Matriarch of the Snyder family and will truly be missed. Mother Susan will forever be the loving mother of Julia Bell Snyder, Margaret Louise Snyder-Crichlow (Chris), and Barbara Snyder Edgerton (Theodore); loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Mother Susan was preceded in death by her husband the Late Reverend Henry Snyder, Sr. her children: Dorothy Snyder Walters, Henry Snyder Jr., Francis Snyder, Sarah Ann Snyder and two infants; two brothers: Sampson Mitchell and Levi Moultrie.

The family will be receiving family and friends from 12:00 Noon until 8:30 PM daily at 1774 River Rd. McClellanville, SC 29458. Please respect and adhere to the time given by the family . A face mask is required to worn at all times while at the residence .

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Bethel AME Church, 464 Society Rd. McClellanville, SC 29458

Home Going Service of Mother Susan M. Snyder affectionately known as "Aunt Sue" will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at Bethel AME Church, 464 Society Rd. McClellanville, SC 29458. Reverend Leondra Stoney - Pastor
