Mother Doris Ann Mchoney

We regret to announce the passing of Mother Doris Ann McHoney, 73, of Moncks Corner, SC who entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at her residence surrounded by the love of her daughters and family. Mother Doris was the loving mother of Gail (John) Nelson, Melissa Aiken, Kimberly McHoney-Johnson & Valerie McHoney; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grands; loving siblings, Lottie Mae (Albert) Harris, Betty (Danny) Smalls, Charles (Cecelia Ann) Wright and Rose (Attorney Steve) Davis; (2) aunts, Mable Lewis & Dorothy Winns, (1) uncle, Herbert Lee Savage and a host of many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mother Doris was preceded in death by her son Esau McHoney, parents, Leroy & Annie Mae Wright, siblings, Minister Henry L. Wright, Margaret Singleton, Roscoe Wright & Lula Bell Wright.

The family will be receiving family and friends at 115 West End Dr. Moncks Corner, SC. Continue to keep Mother Doris children, grands, great-grands, the McHoney, Wright, and Savage family as well as Greater St. Mark AME Church family in your prayers during this difficult time.

SERVICE DETAILS :

Viewing will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00pm at Divinity Mortuary.

Celebration of Life Service of Mother Doris Ann McHoney will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00am at Greater St. Mark AME Church, 918 Black Oak Rd. Bonneau, SC 29431. Pastor Ida Mitchell - Pastor
