It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melvin Gadsden, 76, of Cordesville, SC who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, November 6, 2024 at his residence with his loving wife and family by his bedside. Melvin was an Electrician, and loved what God placed in his hands to do. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team. He was also apart of the IBEW Local Union 776 Brothers and Sisters. To know Melvin was to love him, he will be deeply missed amongst his family, friends and the Cordesville Community. Melvin was the loving husband of 49 wonderful bless years to the apple of his eyes Mrs. Alberta Gadsden; loving father of; Shadon Whitmire, Steven Gadsden (Erica), Melvin L. Gadsden (Joi) and Tyrone Pyatt, (15) grandchildren, (12) Great-grand children; (1) Sister; Helen D. Rivers and host of many loving nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Emily Ware and Harry White, (2) brothers Willie Gadsden, and Samuel Simmons

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence.
