Mark Anthony Symes

We regret to announce the passing of Mark Anthony Symes, 65, of Moncks Corner, SC affectionately known as "Gadget" entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, SC with his loving wife by his bedside. Mark served in the US Air Force for 20 years and later retired after serving his country. Mark returned back home and worked numerous of years with DynCorp & Honeywell on the Naval Base. Anyone that knew Mark knew he loved motorcycles. He was one of the original members of the "WE RIDE" of South Carolina bike club. Mark will be missed by all who knew him. Mark was the loving and devoted husband of 37 wonderful, blessed years to Yolanda W. Symes; his loving son, Sonny Jason Symes; (2) uncles, Arthur Symes and Vernon Symes and a host loving niece, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his daughter Kalani C. Symes & his mother, Gwendolyn Symes.

The family will be receiving family and friends at Mark's residence between the hours of 3:00PM - 8:00pm. Please honor and respect the time given by his lovely wife and family.

SERVICE DETAILS :

Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm at Divinity Mortuary.

Life Celebration Service of Mr. Mark Anthony Symes will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at Wesley UM Church, 1008 Sugar Hill Dr. Moncks Corner, SC 29461.  Rev. Shammond Riddy - Pastor
