We regret to announce the passing of Mae Francis Waring, 64, of Manhattan NY, formerly of St. Stephen, SC who answered the master's call and left this world behind on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in Manhattan, NY.

Mae Francis Waring was born on September 17, 1957 in St Stephens, South Carolina to Hezekiah Horace Sumpter and Annie Lee Sumpter, Her brothers were Archie Lee Waring and Charles Anthony Sumpter and she had a Sister Suzette.

Mae Francis was raised by her grandparents the late Saul and Pearline Waring.

Mae Francis attended elementary school in St Stephens, South Carolina after the passing of Saul and Pearline she moved to New York after to live with her late parents Hezekiah and Annie Lee & attended Richmond High School. After graduating high school Mae Francis became a court stenographer for New York State.

Mae Francis along with Hezekiah and Annie Lee helped bring up Roya and later Shalaina after the passing of her sister, Suzette.

Mae Francis leaves many behind to mourn her. She leaves her brothers Archie Lee Waring and Charles Sumpter and deceased Suzzette along with a great nephew, Jordan a niece from Her brother Archie Lee, and nephews and nieces from her brother Charles, Charles Anthony Sumpter Jr., Jasmine Sumpter, Isaiah Smith, Antonaè Sumpter and Elyssa Smith Left behind are her family from South Carolina, Aunts Lilly Mae Milton, Gale and Douglas Waring, Freddy And Annie Ruth, Laura "Geraldine" Waring, & Aunt Pearline and other friends and relatives.

Mae will have a service held in Manhattan, NY and flown back home to St. Stephen to be laid to rest.

Graveside Service of Mae Francis Waring will held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Peru Cemetery, St. Stephen, SC

A face mask must be worn at the service.
