I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE FINISHED MY COURSE, I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH, HENCEFORTH THERE IS LAID UP FOR ME A CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHICH THE LORD, THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, SHALL GIVE ME AT THAT DAY: 2 Timothy 4:7-8
It is with profound sadness we announce, but yet we rejoice in knowing that Mother Luttie Bell Seaward- Alston-Ham, 107, of St. Stephen, SC has ran her race and finished her course. Mother Luttie Bell went home to be with the Lord peacefully on November 19, 2024 at her residence. Affectionally known in the Community as "Mrs. Luttie" Mrs. Luttie was known for her cooking, drawing pictures and signing her name to every picture she drew, a baby sitter and care taker. She LOVED her family, she LOVED to dress, she LOVED to go to church to serve the Lord, she LOVED to attend her church Calvary RE Church in St. Stephen, SC where she served faithfully many, many years. She was one of the pillars of Calvary RE Church and the oldest member, but most of all Mrs. Luttie was a child of God who's been on the battle field fighting for the Lord a very long time. She's seen and been through so many things, but yet her faith in God never wavered, she trusted and believed God in everything she encountered in her life, she LOVED God, served God, lived for God and now she's peacefully resting in the arms of the Lord. Mrs. Luttie was truly a joy to be around and will be deeply missed amongst her family, the Community and Church family. Mrs. Luttie will forever be the beautiful loving mother of Charlie Ham, Jr., of Goose Creek, SC, Laverne Middleton, Betty Ham Benekin of St. Stephen, SC, Randy (Carol) Ham of Hamden, CT and Pronetha Omowole of Atlanta, Georgia; (14) grandchildren; 16 great-grands; (10) great-great grandchildren; loving sibling; (2) sisters, Ora-Lee Dingle, Lydia Sumpter, (4) brothers, Joe (Georgiana) Seaward, Danzie (Mary) Seaward, Jack (Deloris) Seaward and Willie (Mattie) Seaward; (2) sister-in-law; Mary Beth Seaward and Geneva M.
