We regret to announce the passing of Kevin Migel Wilson, 51, of Summerville, SC who entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Viviant Rehabilitation Healthcare Center in Hanahan, SC. Kevin was the forever loving father of Kevin Wilson, Jr., the loving brother of Jacqueline ( Deacon Carroll ) Holmes, Derrick (Lalita) Wilson, Step-sister Tawanda Blevins, Step-brother Kerry Blevins and the loving Step-son of Lillie Blevins Wilson.

Mr. Kevin Migel Wilson, the son of the late Jackie Wilson and Serena Brothers Wilson, was born on November 8, 1970, in Berkeley County, South Carolina. He departed this earthly journey peacefully as he was called to eternal rest on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Viviant Rehabilitation Healthcare Center in Hanahan, SC.

Kevin was reared in the Sheep Island Community. He was educated in the Berkeley County public school system where he finished as a graduate of Stratford High School.

Kevin accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior as a result of the devout teachings of his mother and father at an early age. His journey started at Mt. Zion AME Church where he was a member of the youth choir. He then transitioned his membership to Greater St. James AME Church where he attended until his health failed.

Kevin was an employee of Staley Construction. In his spare time he loved to go hunting, go fishing, going to the flea market, and he loved watching "Cops" and "The First 48". His life was blessed with a loving son, Kevin Wilson Jr. (affectionately known as KJ). Kevin was known for his sense of humor and ability to give anyone a good laugh. He was blessed to have a loving family who stood by his side through it all.

His loving memories will always be cherished by: his loving son, Kevin Wilson, Jr. of Jamestown, SC; his devoted step mother, Lillie Blevins Wilson of Summerville, SC; his sister, Jacqueline (Deacon Carroll) Holmes of Summerville, SC; his brother, Derrick (Lalita) Wilson of Summerville, SC; his step-sister, Tawanda Blevins of Summerville, SC; his step-brother, Kerry Blevins of Norton, MA; three aunts: Chris- tina Hall Halloway of Jamaica Plains, MA, Ruth Lynah and Shirley Brothers both of Cottageville, SC; two uncles, Jacob (Edith) Wilson of Summerville, SC and Hayden Lambright of Smoaks, SC; his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly along with a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Kevin M. Wilson will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Divinity Mortuary, 924 S. Live Oak Dr. Moncks Corner, SC 29461 from 3-7 PM.

Life Celebration Service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Greater St. James AME Church, 1831 Jedburg Rd. Summerville, SC 29486.  Reverend Archie R. Fair, Pastor

Interment: Greater St. James AME Church Cemetery

Services will be live streamed on both Divinity Mortuary facebook page and Greater St. James AME Church page.  A face must be worn at both the viewing and the service.
