Divinity Mortuary alongside the Sumpter family regret to announce the passing of Kenneth Sumpter, 79, of St. Stephen, SC who transitioned on Sunday, July 6, 2025. Kenneth leaves to cherish his loving memories, his loving wife Emma Sumpter, loving children, Tyrone (Sonya) Dingle Sumpter, Terrence (Luchana) Sumpter, Tamesha Sumpter, Tasha (Stephan) Caldwell, (10) grands and (5) great grands, siblings, Aquino Sumpter, Essie (Louis) Sumpter-Young, Gregory Sumpter, Vanessa (Elder Albert) Miller, Gwendolyn (Rawleigh) Mazyck and Crystal (Bernard) Smalls and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive guests at their residence between the hours of 2pm - 8pm. Please adhere to the hours given by the family. Keep the Sumpter family in prayer during this difficult time.
