Karen M. E. (Levy) Dozier

It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Karen M. E. Levy Dozier, 67, of Charleston, SC who entered into eternal rest on Sunday morning, December 18, 2022 at The Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA with her loving daughter and sisters by her bedside. Karen will forever be the loving mother of Kenneth G. Shaw, Jr., Lisa Y. Shaw (Derik) Coffey, Christopher L. Shaw, Nathaniel L. Shaw & Corey J. Thomas (bonus son); loving grandchildren: Angel, Michael, Troy, Kenniya, Kenneth, Narobi, Saraan, Saylor, Autumn, Zoya & NaShawn; 1 great granddaughter; forever loving sister of Dwayne Levy, Frank Ulrick (Marcia) Levy, Angel Levy, David (Carleen) Robinson, Karen Renee Robinson, Pastor Iris (Apostle Johnnie) Capers, Frank Levy, Jr. & Felicia Rivers; sister in law: Pamela Levy & a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents Bishop Frank (Deaconess Janie) Levy, Sr., Helen Levy; granddaughter: Iriel Shaw; siblings: Larry Levy, Troy Levy & Avis Robinson.

The family will be receiving family and friends at Pastor Iris & Apostle Johnnie Capers' residence at 610 Cummings Chapel Rd. Ridgeville, SC 29472 between the days and hours of Tuesday 4-9pm, Wednesday 4-9pm & Thursday 4-8pm. Please respect the family requests of the visiting days and hours .

A face mask is required to be worn at ALL times while at the residence, NO exceptions . You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall.
