Divinity Mortuary alongside the McKelvey family regret to announce the passing of Joyce McKelvey, 75, of Moncks Corner, SC who went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Joyce leaves to cherish her loving memories, her loving daughter Lavonia (Travis) Johnson, (9) grands; (12) great-grands; siblings; Riley (Brenda) McKelvey, Johnnie Mae McKelvey, Alfredo McKelvey, Althair McKelvey, Samuel James McKelvey, Jr., Sam McKelvey, Stella McKelvey, Lovenia McKelvey, Inell Simmons, best friend; Alice Shine and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests at 559 Bellview Circle, Moncks Corner, SC between the hours of 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Please adhere to the hours given by the family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel James McKelvey, Sr. and Leona Legree Mckelvey, Brother,Julius Mckelvey and Daughter, Mary J. Mckelvey.
