It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Lee Weathers, 57, of Moncks Corner, SC who entered into eternal rest at his residence on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 2:32 PM surrounded by his loving family. Joesph was the loving father of Tracy Foster, Travis Foster & Cameron Pou-Weathers; his siblings; Betty (Joe) Marshall, Mary (St. Claire) Rivers, John (Cynthia) Weathers, Lewis Weathers, Jr. Delores Weathers, Peggy A. Weathers & Tommy Weathers.
The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A face mask is ask to be worn at all times while at the residence. You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall. Continue to keep the Weathers family in your prayers.
REFLECTIONS OF LIFE OF JOSEPH LEE WEATHERS
Joseph L. Weathers, 57, departed this life the 12th Day of October, the year 2022 with his family and friends by his side in Monck Corner, South Carolina.
Joseph was born November 17, 1964, in Moncks Corner to the late Lewis Weathers Sr. and Leona Green Weathers who both preceded him in death.
Joseph affectionately known to some as "Joe", "Unk" and "Uncle B" was educated in the Berkeley County Schools where he later was employed as a Maintenance & Ground Keeper.
Joe was the youngest of 8 children. His interests included leisure walks, landscaping, gardening. Joe loved football and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. Joe was also a coffee lover! He enjoyed hanging with his nephews, family, and having a good story to tell.
Joseph is survived by his son: Cameron Xavier Pou- Weathers of Moncks Corner, SC, his 7 siblings: Betty Marshall (Joe), Mary W. Rivers (St. Claire), John Weathers (Cynthia), Delores Weathers, Peggy Weathers, Tommy Weathers all of Moncks Corner, SC and Lewis Weathers Jr. of Fayetville, N.C, two special friends: Johnny Holmes of Moncks Corner, S.C and the late Ollie Jerome Manigo along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Divinity Mortuary from 3-7 PM. A face mask must be worn at all times during viewing.
Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Old Nazareth RE Cemetery, 2205 Wampee Dr. Moncls Corner, S 29461
