We regret to announce the passing of Johnny Gibbs, 55, of Moncks Corner, SC who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, SC. Johnny was the loving and devoted son of Ms. Jannie Gibbs & reared in the home of Elizabeth Palmer. Please keep the Gibbs family in your prayers.

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence. A face mask is asked to be worn at all times while at the residence. Please continue to adhere to all Covid-19 Protocols. You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall.

LIFE REFLECTIONS OF JOHNNY GIBBS

Johnny Gibbs was born on December 5, 1966 to Jannie Gibbs in Huntington, New York. He transitioned to eternal life on Wednesday, July 7, 2022.

Johnny was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County. He was a Sunday School Scholar at the Moncks Corner COOLJC of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. He was a very private person, quiet but firm. He was very active in sports and even played football during his school years.

Johnny enjoyed watching television and especially cutting his family and friends hair. He was also fond at working with the computer.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Gibbs Thomas.

Johnny will forever be remembered by his loving mother: Jannie Gibbs, especially by the one and only: Mother Elizabeth Palmer, his nephew: Andrew Thomas (Breana), his grandnephew: Jamari Thomas, and host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Divinity Mortuary from 3-6 PM. A face mask is required to worn at all times during viewing .

Life Celebration for Johnny Gibbs will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Moncks Corner Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, 1027 Cooper Store Rd. Moncks. Corner, SC 29461, District Elder Samuel Spann - Pastor
