John W. Booker, Jr.

We regret to announce the passing of John W. Booker, Jr., 48 of Goose Creek, SC who entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at MUSC Hospital, Charleston, SC.

John was the loving and devoted husband of 25 years to the apple of his eyes Derla Jones-Booker; forever loving father of Ebony & Cashmere Booker; loving grandchildren: Miley, Meadow, Nyra, Donati, Madilyn and Sariyah: Father: John W. Booker, Sr.; Siblings: Teontchie and Cliffton Booker; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, his brothers from another mother whom he grew up with Jay-Jay, Shannon, Stacey, Khary, Pooh, Arthur and other relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his mother Patricia M. Booker and his brother Quincy Booker.

John taught his grandchildren how to play a game called PO-KE-NO. He was always known for beating them and taking their money in all fun and games.

John was a HUGE San Fransisco 49'ers fan & Oakland Raiders fan, but he LOVED those San Francisco 49'ers. His favorite colors were always red, blk, white and gold.

John LOVED and adored HIS Queen, HIS beauitful wife Derla, his children, grandchildren, his family.

John was all about unity. He settled for nothing less with any and everyone he came in contact with. To know John was to love him. He will be missed among everyone that knew him.

The family will not be receiving family and friends at their residence. Please honor and respect Mrs. Derla's & the children wishes at this time. Your prayers are solicited for the entire family during this difficult time. You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 5:00pm at 208 Briarnend Rd. Goose Creek, SC 29445
