Divinity Mortuary, with hearts joined alongside the Gavin, family regret to announce the passing of Jessie Gavin, Jr., 77, of Ridgeville, SC who entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 10, 2026 in Summerville, SC. 

Jessie leaves to cherish his memories, the apple of his eyes, his loving wife, Cynthia Gavin; (2) wonderful children, Earth Gavin and Alonzo (Charmaine) Gavin; (6) grandchildren, Jaquan Gavin, Demari Gavin, Iyanna Crowder, Khalie Crowder, Aiden Crowder and Kaiden Crowder; (1) great-grand, Sy’Air Milford; (3) loving sisters, Deloris Eadie, Rosa Murray, Betty (Andre) Whittaker and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Jessie was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Gavin Young, father, Jessie Gavin Sr., brother, Raymond Gavin and nephew, Raymond Gavin, Jr.

The family will receive guests at their residence. Continue to keep the Gavin, Eadie and Young family in your prayers.
