Jeffrey King, Sr.

We regret to announce the passing of Jeffrey King, Sr., 54, of Moncks Corner, SC who entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 5, 2022 at his residence. Jeffrey was the loving father of Jeffrey (Tiye) King, Jr., forever loving son of Floretta King; loving brother of Jessie (Terry) King, Beverly King, the brother of the late Edna King and Clement King; and a long time companion Rhodonia A. Parker.

LIFE REFLECTIONS OF JEFFREY KING, SR.

Jeffrey King, Sr. was born on February 5, 1968 in Charleston, SC to Jeff King and Floretta W. King.

He was a well-known for his mechanic work. He retired from the Charleston County School District in 2016; with over 20 years of service as a bus driver. He was a graduate of North Charleston High School. In his youth, he was an excellent athlete where he earned numerous accomplishments in weightlifting and bodybuilding. He also was a standout linebacker in football for his alma mater as well.

He lived with his long loved companion Rhodonia Parker for over 16 years. He was a die-hard Carolina Panthers fan (NFL). He had a healthy appetite and really loved his sweets. He enjoyed doing auto mechanic work and had an endless knowledge base about cars. He loved his family with all of his heart.

He transitioned from his earthly vessel on September 5, 2022 due to health complications.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his Mother: Floretta W. King, Long Loved Companion: Rhodonia Parker, Children:  Jeffrey King, Jr. (son), Tiye J. King (daughter-in-law),  Mikkael Clark (step-daughter), Chantee Clark (step-daughter), Janae Parker (step-daughter), Jaron Parker (step-son), Grandchildren: Jeffrey Elijah King, Jadon T. Reed, Kayln T. Reed, Elizabeth Simmons, Saniyah Haynes, Brothers & Sisters: Jessie King (brother), Terry King (sister-in-law), Beverly King (sister), Niece's & Nephews: Candice King (niece), Tyler King (nephew), Andrew King (nephew), Sarah King (niece),  Edward King (nephew), Annette King (niece), Norris King (nephew), Timothy King (nephew),Aunt: Barberann Stanley, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Public Viewing will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Divinity Mortuary from 5-7 PM.

A face mask must be worn during viewing.

Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Old Nazareth RE Cemetery, 2205 Wampee Dr. Moncks Corner, SC 29461
