Ishan Amistda White

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ishan Amistda White, 21, of Moncks Corner, SC who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Ishan was the loving son of Tonya M. Haynes and the late Michael Alonzo White, Sr., he was the loving brother of Marquise Haynes, Michael White, Jr., Ezekiel Jenkins, Daquan Gleason, Kamari White, Ionia White, Shonquandria Mazyck and Shalayla Mazyck.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the family will not receive visitors at their home. The family ask for your continual prayers and thank you for your prayers and understanding during this difficult time.

Ishan A. White, the son of the late Michael Alonzo White, Sr. (Ieshia) and Tonya (Gregory) Mazyck, was born May 13, 2000 in Charleston, South Carolina. He was called into eternal rest on February 12, 2022 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

Ishan was educated in the Berkeley County School System. He was a graduate of Berkeley High School Class of 2019. Ishan was filled with laughter and enjoyed being with his friends. He loved the game of basketball and was a star athlete who played with commitment and passion. Ishan attended Chipola College from 2019-2020. He later transferred to Polk State College where he received his Associates of Arts Degree in 2021. Prior to his untimely passing, he was enrolled in New Mexico State College majoring in Sports Medicine.

Ishan leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Tonya (Gregory) Mazyck of Moncks Corner, SC; eight siblings: Marion Haynes, Michael White, Jr, Ezekiel Jenkins, Daquan, Karmir and Ionia White, Shalayla and Shonquandria Mazyck; special aunt and Godmother, Christine (Kernell) Rhames and Tasia Smalls (Dewayne); aunts and uncles: Teresa White, Clementia White, Mardina La'Sane, Johnny (Elaine) White, David (Sherry) White, Maurice Haynes, Dewayne Haynes, Sr., two special cousins, Markala White and LaShawn Simmons, a special extended family: Emma, Chris, Christian, and Christal Lloyd and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
