Herbert Lee Levine

We regret to announce the passing of Herbert Lee Levine, 70, of Jamestown, SC who entered into eternal rest on Friday morning, December 1, 2023 at Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital, Summerville, SC. Herbert was a well respected man in the Community, a loving and gentle man who loved his family and would do whatever he could to help anyone. Herbert was an awesome mechanic and loved working on cars, he will be missed. Herbert was the loving father of Herbert Lee McCray; granddaughter, Morgan McCray; loving brother of Richard (Vermell-Leola) Levine of Shulerville, SC, Elizabeth L. Davis of Shulerville, SC & Spivey Levine of Baltimore, MD; aunts: Mrs. Louise W. Payne of Charleston, SC, Ms. Ella Mae Beckett of Virginia, Mrs. Beatrice Washington of Baltimore, MD and Ms. Albertha Wiggins of Virginia, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents Issac and Rebecca Levine.

The family will not be receiving family and friends at their residence . Please adhere and respect the request of the family. Continue to keep the Levine family, Wesley AME Church family and the Jamestown/Shulerville Community in your prayers.
