Henry Burgess, Jr.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Henry Burgess Jr., 83, of Goose Creek, SC who entered into eternal rest peacefully early Friday morning, December 16, 2022 at his residence with his loving wife by his bedside. Henry was the loving and devoted husband to the apple of his eyes of 61 years Mrs. Rosa Nole Burgess; loving children: Cynthia (Donald) Willingham & Raniesha Lessonington; 5 loving grandchildren; forever loving brother of: Rosa Bell Jefferson & Cathleen Johnson; brother-in-law: Deacon Roosevelt (Leola) Nole; sisters-in-law: Margaret Wright, Francena Nole & Charlotte Nole.

Henry was preceded in death by two of his children, Alexander Burgess & Verionca Jeffcoat.

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence. A face mask is required to be worn at all times while at the residence.  You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall.  Continue to keep the Burgess & Nole family in your prayers during this difficult time .

Public Viewing will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 3-7 PM at Divinity Mortuary. A face mask is required to be worn NO exceptions .

Life Celebration for Mr. Henry Burgess, Jr. will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Jehovah Holiness Church, 2613 French Santee Rd. Jamestown, SC 29453. Elder Roy Snider - Pastor
