Mrs. Georgetta Scott Robinson

The Management and Staff of Divinity Mortuary alongside the Robinson and Scott family announce the peaceful transition of Mrs. Georgetta Scott-Robinson, 82, of Moncks Corner, SC who peaceful entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Trident Medical Center, N. Charleston, SC with her loving children and family by her bedside. Georgetta was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.​​ Georgetta accepted Christ at a very young age and was very active in her church at New Home Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, SC. After working many years, Georgetta retired from DuPont Cooper River Plant. Georgetta would help anyone that came her way because she believed that if she could help someone along the way then her living would not be in vain. Georgetta will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish her memories, her children: Maxine T. Robinson (North Charleston, SC), Alethia R. Rivers (Atlanta, GA), Kenneth K. Robinson (Goose Creek, SC), Cathy R. Foust  (Columbia, SC), Charles A. (Suzette) Robinson (North Charleston, SC); (7) grandchildren: Demarcus D. Smith, Tonisha Robinson, Brittany Robinson, LaKendra Robinson, Adrian (Kelli) Rivers, Amber Robinson, Deonte Rivers; (2) great-grandchildren: Ava-Symone Browning, De'Marvion Robinson; (4) brothers: Reverend Milton (Shirley) Scott, Deacon Pervis (Marian) Scott, Dr. Franklyn Scott, Retired Major Daniel (Veronica) Scott; Brother and Sister-in-laws; Eleanor Scott, Geneva (Henry) Raysor, Althea Smalls, Howard (Rosalind) Brown and host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Georgetta was preceded in death by her husband Mack Robinson, parents Rufus and Katherine Cooper-Scott and her brother Deacon Charles Scott.

The family will be receiving family and friends at Mrs. Georgetta's residence between the hours of 2:00pm - 8:00pm. Keep the Robinson and Scott family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Service Details Below :

Public Viewing will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Divinity Mortuary, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. The Eastern Star will begin their Rites promptly at 6:00pm.

Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Georgetta Scott Robinson will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 11:00am at New Home Baptist Church, 2076 Old Hwy. 52 Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
