It is with great sadness Divinity Mortuary alongside the Davis, Bowman and Snider Family announce the transition of George Leroy Davis, Jr., 53, of North Charleston, SC who entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning February 22, 2025 at Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC.
Georgie was always well dressed anytime you saw him, he loved to cook, travel, read books and a good jokester. He was a big fan of the Pittsburg Steelers Football Team.
George LOVED poetry and was known and called "O'Fish" by many of his friends and associates, but to his family he was affectionately called "Georgie" or "Little George".
Georgie LOVED to spend quality time with his son every opportunity he had and with his sister, niece, nephew, family and those close to him.
"Georgie" / "O'Fish" was a brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, a true friend to many and will truly be missed amongst his family and all who knew him.
George was the loving father to his only son whom he loved dearly Sincere Davis, forever loving sister Vannette Davis, loving niece and nephew, Kailyn Davis and Kelby Moultrie; loving aunts and uncles; Vincent Bowman, Levi (Fredricka) Bowman, Pastor Roy (Victoria) Snider, Lawrence (Roberta) Snider, Clarence (Elizabeth) Snider, Daisy (Willie) Snipe, Doreen McConnell, Daisy Snider, Johnny Lee (MarthaLee) Davis, Troy Bowman and a host of many loving cousins, other relatives and friends.
George was preceded in death by his parents George Leroy Davis, Sr., and Reverend AnnaBell Bowman-Davis; (3) aunts: Viola Bowman-Levine, Nancy L. Snider, Deloris Joseph, (4) uncles: Bobbie Jean Snider, Lorenzo McConnell, Bunk Davis and Cleve Davis.
