It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Evangelist Barbara M. Simmons, 70, of Moncks Corner, SC who heard the Master's Call and answered on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at her residence with her loving husband by her side. Evangelist Simmons was the loving & devoted wife of 44 years to Deacon Henry L. Simmons of Moncks Corner, SC; loving daughter of Nancy Manigault of Moncks Corner; forever loving mother of Desiree L. Simmons of Summerville, SC, Devora (Rev. Aaron T.) Brown of Moncks Corner, SC, Johnell Peeples of Moncks Corner SC, & Darrell (Jafrica) Manigault of Fort Mill, SC; loving grandmother of: JaAvonte, Christopher, Dezariah, Tatiyana, Janae, Aaron Jr., Alana & Aubree; loving sister of Shirley Lloyd, Virgil (Rose) Fashion; brother-in-law: Eugene Simmons; sister-in-law: Elouise Simmons, Cynthia Manigault & Claretha Taylor.

Evangelist Simmons was preceded in death by her father Rev. David Manigault & her brother David Anthony Manigault.

The family will be receiving family and friends at 112 Ulmer Lane, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. A face mask is required to be worn at all times while at the residence. You are welcome to leave your condolences on our Tribute Wall.

SERVICE DETAILS:

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Anderson Baptist Church, 1159 Old Black Oak Rd. Moncks Corner, SC 29461

Celebration of Life of Evangelist Barbara M. Simmons will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Anderson Baptist Church, 1159 Old Black Oak Rd. Moncks Corner, SC.  Reverend Oscar Cash -  Pastor
