Esau Mchoney, Sr.

Divinity Mortuary alongside the McHoney and Nelson Family regret to announce the passing of Esau McHoney, Sr., 78, of Bonneau, SC who entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital, Summerville, SC. Esau was the loving father of Melissa Aiken, Kimberly Johnson, Valerie McHoney and Cliter Holmes; (17) Grands; (9) Great-Grands; Siblings: Samuel McHoney (Florence), Buck McHoney Jr. (Tommie), special friend, WillieAnn Holmes-Starks and a host of many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Esau was proceeded him in death by his parents, Buck McHoney Sr, and Elizabeth Nelson-McHoney; Son: Esau McHoney Jr., Brother: Jacob McHoney (twin brother);  sisters: Hattie Mae Campbell, Jessie Morant, Daisy McHoney and Gladys Montgomery.

The family will be receiving family and friends at his daughter house at 1063 Blue Flame Rd. Bonneau,  SC 29431.
