We regret to announce the passing of Ervin Brown, Jr., 76, of Summerville, SC who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 18, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Ervin will forever be the loving father of (5) sons: Ervin Lee Brown, Jeffery Vanderhorst, Devron Praleau, Donnell Brown and Rashad Brown; (16) grandchildren; (3) great-grandchildren; (4) sisters: Maude (Nathaniel) Lawrence, Delphine (Alfred) Mays, Alice (Clement) Phillips, Diana Fikes and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Ervin was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Louise Brown, his brother Freddie Brown and brother-in-law NeShawn Fikes.

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence. A face mask must be worn and kept on at all times while at the residence.

SERVICE DETAILS :

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm at Divinity Mortuary.

Life Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11:00am at Greater St. James AME Church, 1831 Jedburg Rd. Summerville, SC 29483. Rev. Archie Fair - Pastor

Interment: Cherry Hill Community Cemetery, Market Rd. Ladson, SC (by the flea market)
