Deaconess Carleen Virgil (Cooper) Salley

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful transition from earth to glory of Deaconess Carleen Virgil Cooper-Salley, 62, of Summerville, SC who entered into eternal rest on Sunday morning July 7, 2024 at her residence. Carleen was a very sweet, loving, full of life, fun person to be around. She loved her family, she was a praying woman of God who loved God, served God and cherished her walk with God. Carleen was simply a beautiful person inside and out, she had a beautiful smile that would brighten anyone's day. Carleen will be deeply missed among her husband, children, family, friends and her New Bethel Sounds of Praise church family.

Deaconess Carleen was the loving, devoted and faithful wife of 11 wonderful blessed years to Deacon J. Michael Salley; forever loving mother of Tiffany McClain, April Nixon, Aja M. Salley & Joshua M. Salley; (13) grandchildren; (3) great-grandchildren; forever loving daughter of; Yolanda Simmons; loving siblings; Carmenlitia Douzart & Glynnis (Roger) Starks; (3) Sisters n laws; (3) Brother in laws and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Deaconess Carleen was preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Ross, her father Virgil Wilder, her brothers Ricky Simmons & Richard Rembert.

Wake Service will be held on Friday evening, July 12, 2024 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at New Bethel Sounds of Praise, 351 Greyback Rd. Summerville, SC 29483. Apostle A.H. Simmons - Chief Apostle, Bishop Designate Christian A. Simmons, Senior Pastor

Celebration of Life Service of Deaconess Carleen Virgil Cooper - Salley will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00am at New Bethel Sounds of Praise, 351 Greyback Rd. Summerville, SC 29483.

Interment: New Bethel Memorial Gardens, (Church Cemetery)
