Divinity Mortuary formally announces the passing of Darneisha Lashawn McCray, 50, of Moncks Corner, SC formerly of Jamestown/ Savannah Creek, SC who transitioned on Monday, March 24, 2025.
Darneisha attended Macedonia Elementary School, Macedonia Middle School and graduated from Macedonia High School, Class of 1992. Before furthering her education at Atlanta Junior College, she dedicated much of her professional life to the field of medical billing and coding where she was highly regarded for her expertise and commitment. At the time of her passing, she was an AR Representative at Ensemble Health Partners, having previously worked for companies such as Molina, McKesson, and PSA.
Darneisha was known for her loving, hardworking, caring, inspirational, and fun personality.
Darneisha had a passion for playing the lottery, watching shows on Tubi, and listening to music, activities that brought joy into her and her family's lives.
Darneisha is survived by her children, Kamren McCray (Jada), Kiyana McCray, Averie McCray, and Kevin McCray Jr., her loving mother, Sheraldine Fulmore; her cherished granddaughter, Kaylani Jade McCray, siblings, W. Mark Maybank (Tina), Cleveland Maybank, Brian Maybank (Keesha), and Tarneisha Williams (Mike); former spouse, Kevin McCray Sr., and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Darneisha was preceded in death by her father, Wates M. Maybank, and her maternal grandparents, Royal and Shirley Smith.
The family will be receiving guests at their residence. Continue to keep the McCray, Fulmore and Maybank family in your prayers during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Darneisha. Her life and legacy will remain a beacon of inspiration to all who knew her.
