Danielle Alexis (Rice) Cox-Todd

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Danielle Alexis Rice Cox-Todd, 33 of Houston, TX formerly of Summerville, SC who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Danielle (affectionately known as "Dani"​​)​ was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin and a friend but most of all a child of God. Danielle was a God-fearing young lady who loved God and loved her family​​. "Dani" was a sweet loving person, vibrant, educated and kept God first in all she did. To know her was to love her, she will truly be missed amongst her family and friends. Danielle was the loving and devoted wife of Aubrey Cox Todd; forever loving mother of Brody Cox-Todd & Christopher Cox-Todd; she was the loving daughter of  Dr. Candace Rice; s iblings: Isaac (Winnie) Rice, Salina (John) Gethers, Treva Rice, Solomon Rice, Shineika (Edward) Townsend; g randmother: Annabelle S. Wright; f ather/mother-in-Law: Drs. Aubrey (Pamela) Todd and Fanethia Cox; a unts/uncles:  Dwaine (Jimmy) Thomas, Myra Wright, Sylvia (Henry) Simmons, Dr. Tony (Lauren) Wright; Ida (Melvin) Smith, Phillip (Jackie) Rice, David Rice, Nita (Benjamin) Nkanata; n ieces/nephews: Jordan Judge, Jahiem Gethers, Janiah Gethers, Sajon Gethers, Solomon Rice, III, Jalen Rice, Kgauelo Cox Todd; g randmother-in-law: Georgia Reece; s isters-in-Law: Deirdreia Cox; Dyani Norwood; b rothers-in-law: Sirevalon (Tumiso) Cox-Todd, Titus Todd, Damario Norwood and a host of many loving grand-aunts and uncles, cousins and relatives and friends.

Danielle was preceded in death by her father Reverend Solomon Rice; her grandfather Deacon George Wright and her grandmother Ezelle Rice.

There will be NO viewing on Friday .

Celebration of Life Service of Mrs. Danielle Alexis (Rice) Cox-Todd will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00am at New Bethel Sounds of Praise, 351 Greyback Rd. Summerville, SC 29483. Apostle Allen H. Simmons - Pastor

Danielle will lie in state from 9:30am -10:50am at New Bethel Sounds of Praise.

Danielle's Interment will be Private for the immediate family only . Please honor and respect the wishes of our dear Danielle's request and the immediate family.
