Divinity Mortuary alongside the Nelson family regret to announce the passing of Cleveland Nelson, Sr, 80, of Moncks Corner, SC who transitioned on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Cleveland leaves to cherish his loving memories his loving children: Cleveland Nelson, Jr., Pamela Denise (Kevin) Walker, (Rickey Nelson (Laquetta Simmons, fiancé'), (5) grands, (13) Great grands, siblings: Reverend Dorothy (Freddie) Duncan, Sr., Peggy Ann (Edward) Smalls, Floyd (Patricia) Reid, Micheal Reid, aunt: Leola Darby, uncle: Samuel (Vera) Darby, and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Cleveland was preceded in death by his wife Mary Nelson.

The family will be receiving family and friends at their residence. Keep the Nelson  family uplifted in prayer.
